Activating Session Restore in Firefox 2 Beta 1

    Help me please...
    I just installed Firefox 2.0, and all of a sudden, my username/password isn't being inserted in the signon window (it always was before). I tried the usual suspects--I did not mistakenly tell FF not to remember the password for this site; and I also tried the remember password bookmarklet, but all to no avail--FF will not ask me to remember this password. What do I need to do to get around this?

    Please add firefox cookies/bad web sites immunization in next version!
    Firefox 2 cannot reject third party cookies!!!!!!!!

    By the way, the final version of Firefox 2.0 offers an easier way to do this. Go to "Tools | Options" (or "Firefox | Preferences" if on a Mac) and on the Main tab, set "When Firefox starts:" to "Show my windows and tabs from last time".

    Melvin, on which website are you having this problem?

    Try checking the Security tab on Firefox Options. Make sure "Remember passwords for sites" is checked and make sure the website isn't listed under "Exceptions."

    Melvin:

    Some sites instruct the browser to not allow saving the password. This can be overridden using one of many available extensions in addons.mozilla.org, such as the one called "Annoyance Remover".

    i tried twice, the first time, i key in four entries, i managed to get the restore, but only once, then now i retry and only key in the three entries, but no restore word at all.
    please help.

    i key in the last entry, and realised that that entry value keep changing to false every time i open firefox.

    can i make it fixed? if so, then my restore function will be worked.

    please advise.

    Show my windows and tabs from last time doesn't seem to work when the entire system has to restart. Will anything work at that point? At times, Firefox becomes so full up that I have to close, at which point it gives you that "firefox is closing" choose to end now or not. It doesn't seem to save so I tried rebooting the whole computer. Which option will allow the tabs to actually be saved?
